In the beginning . . .

The Hoffmann Program began with Lee Hoffmann, a special education teacher, who wanted to know why children with the same IQ experienced school so differently.  One learned easily and the other had problems. Through 20 years of trial and error, she developed the Hoffmann Integration Processing Program (HIPP), which helped the students be successful in their regular classes.

After retirement, Dr. Hoffmann and Karen Jolley conducted HIPP clinics for the public in Chico, CA. Today, Jolley is one of the few trained and experienced people who can successfully present the program.
